This complete set includes a traditional icon board ready for painting and a handmade wooden kiot, individually crafted to fit the board perfectly. Every piece is made in our family workshop in Pochaiv, Ukraine, where we have specialized in Orthodox icon boards and church furnishings for over 17 years.

The icon board is produced according to traditional iconographic methods using carefully selected linden wood, reinforced with oak or ash hardwood splines, covered with authentic Levkas (gesso) made from natural chalk, linen Pavoloka and animal-hide glue, and finished with a protective impregnation on the sides and back.

The matching kiot is handcrafted from solid ash or oak, finished with a premium protective lacquer that enhances the natural beauty of the wood while ensuring long-lasting durability. The inner decorative frame is handcrafted from solid linden, traditionally prepared with Levkas and finished with genuine gold leaf, creating an elegant presentation worthy of sacred artwork.
