This handcrafted Orthodox icon board features a distinctive dome-shaped arched design inspired by traditional church architecture and iconographic forms.

The board is made from carefully selected alder wood with durable ash hardwood splines, providing excellent stability and resistance to warping. The elegant dome profile and traditional kovcheg create a beautiful foundation for professional icon painting.

The board is supplied without levkas (gesso), allowing iconographers to prepare the surface according to their own workshop traditions and techniques.

Handmade in our family workshop near the famous Pochaiv Lavra in Ukraine, where icon boards have been produced using traditional methods for more than 17 years.
