This elegant set combines a wooden kiot and an icon board crafted according to traditional Orthodox techniques. The kiot serves as a small sanctuary for the icon, protecting it while giving the image a dignified, reverent presence. Its gilded interior softly enhances the brightness of the icon, and the upper section features a carved depiction of the Holy Spirit, adding a sense of spiritual completeness. The icon board is made from solid linden wood with a traditional recessed kovcheg. It is prepared with several layers of classic Levkas gesso, creating a perfectly smooth painting surface. The sides and back are finished with protective varnish for durability.
