🎨 Traditional Materials & Technique
This icon is created on a hand-carved linden wood board with kovcheg (recessed center), prepared using traditional gesso (levkas) made from chalk and natural glue.

The image is painted entirely by hand using egg tempera pigments and embellished with genuine 23k gold leaf.
The surface is protected with multiple layers of natural varnish to ensure durability for generations.
