This handcrafted wooden crucifix features Christ on the cross, with the Mother of God and Saint John on the sides.
The image is created on a hand-carved icon board with kovcheg, made of solid linden wood. The surface is prepared with traditional gesso (levkas) — a blend of chalk and glue.
Kindly note: the photographed item has not yet been varnished. Each cross will be finished with 2–3 coats of protective varnish as part of our complimentary finishing service, ensuring both protection and a refined appearance.
